The Thapar Group |
The Thapar Group is a large conglomerate with interest in practically all major
industrial and commercial activities in India - Paper, Electronics, Mining,
Textiles, Glass, Trading .... It was a complex task just to define what the
organisation was. Every segment is a major company and quite independent of
the corporate headquarters.
It was a challenge to project a cohesive corporate image, which was not evident
normally, through design. The photography was done at factories and shop-floors
all over the country in a variety of conditions.
It was an exciting exercise as it gave an step by step insight into working
of some of the major industries in India.
The cover was printed in seven colours. The mettalics were produced using CYM on silver print. The gray gradation was created using two greys + black.
