Man & Nature'95 and Nature'96 |

The events, Man & Nature'95 and Nature'96 were organized by Dastkar, an
organization for crafts and crafts persons. The aim was to bring together craft
groups and organizations which work with natural materials and environmental
friendly technologies.
The symbol (shown on the hut in the background) was derived from a wall painting art known as 'Mandana'. The cards and the posters were designed to project the traditional rural crafts and techniques and were different from the regular DASTKAR event cards. The visual in 1996 card was a 'photoshop' composite of four visuals including the symbols of Dastkar and the event. 1995 card was printed on recycled box board, 1996 card, poster offset printed on hand made recycled paper.
The symbol has since then been handcrafted in many different materials.
